I've done 57 out of the 132 stupid things.
day out with mingshuan and liyun at bugis -- yes, bugis again, for the third time in three days but i'm not really complaining because i had brilliant company all three days and the venue didn't really matter a lot to me -- and it was really loads of fun. (:
met up for lunch, and we all exchanged very belated presents -- liyun's birthday present and valentine's day presents and souvenirs from my taiwan trip for the both of them. mingshuan got me a pretty black mirror with a butterfly cutout on the front, and i'm so bringing it everywhere now. i have three of these compact mirrors now, and i think i might start collecting because they're really pretty. i just need four more and then i can have a different one for each day of the week. haha okay, i'm just kidding, i don't look into a mirror that much and i'm not that much of a bimbo.
liyun baked us cookies! and she also got me earrings, which i really wanted because my other pairs either got lost or had random parts broken off. i'm not even that rough with them, so i don't really know why all of them disintegrate after a while. i'll take good care of this pair though!
i got a mt. fuji puzzle for mingshuan (i'm sorry it's so random haha but when i saw it i thought of japan and then japanese and then you, and it's something i've never ever given you before anyway so i thought i'd get it) and this handphone cushion thing for liyun. and then because i was so bored at home i got this crazy idea that it'd be fun to make sushi for them as part of their valentine's day present, so i made crabmeat sushi and cheese sushi and onigiri for them. i think the rice didn't have enough vinegar in it though, because i was using this new vinegar mix thing and i'd already doubled the recommended amount and didn't think i should put anymore in. thanks for eating the sushi guys, even though there was the overwhelming risk of having terrible stomachaches after. and also eating them despite their not tasting too good.
and they also completely validated my claim that they were insane friends, because i got dragged along to take neoprints not once, but TWICE. and then they took loads of other random photos too. haha but i guess it's okay, since it's been so long since we last met up and our next potential gathering would probably have to be during the march holidays when liyun's done with her common tests. and when mingshuan is free and not at her internship place, which i gather is a pretty big accounting firm. so now i will have random photos to stare at.
jap test tomorrow that will determine whether i can take the elementary 2 classes, and i haven't studied yet. i need to stop relying on past knowledge and study seriously, or i'm not going to pass. see, complacency hits hard and it's not even official school yet.
