you are the only one that needs to know.

i've been reduced to a total fangirl again, because of the korean version of boys over flowers. it's a really nice adaptation, and much as i hate to say it, seems quite a bit better than the taiwan version which i was so in love with in primary school because jerry yan was in it. i haven't watched the japanese version yet, although i keep telling myself i should, but i don't think that one will be able to compare either -- i watched the hana yori dango movie and it frankly wasn't much.

anyway, back to the korean version. the f4 in this one take a while to get used to i suppose, because none of them are in-your-face good-looking/swoon-worthy. but then i've always thought that the most beautiful people are those who don't seem to be that good-looking at first, but they grow on you until you've fallen in so deep without even realising you were in danger right from the start. and maybe it's because the guy who plays junpyo -- the daomingsi/domyoji of the korean version -- looks a little like jerry yan. they have so similar eyes, and from some angles they might even look like twins.

see what i mean??

and, all four members of f4 in the korean version are good-looking. seriously, i'm not kidding. plus, i like the girl because she's actually a likeable heroine and she doesn't get too whiny. okay so i'm really only just on the second episode, but that's evidence of how good the show is too -- two episodes into the series and i'm completely taken in.

sigh, if i do get good enough results and get accepted for scholarship interviews and the like, i'm not going to know how to answer if a question like "so, what did you do between the a levels and now?" is posed. i can hardly say stuff like "umm, melting into a puddle of rabid-fangirl-goo everytime the likes of ikuta toma/edison chen/lee joon ki/kim ki bum/lee dong hae/lee min ho/kim hyun joong appeared." can i...

disclaimer: despite all evidence to the contrary i am really not a squealing, rabid fangirl most of the time. in fact, i rarely display much excitement nor do i scream with happiness everytime any of the aforementioned show up (on tv, not in real life unfortunately). i'm a fangirl in secret. haha. the most i do is gaze dreamily into space. honestly!!

and the earliest date i can start my elementary two japanese lessons happens to be a month away, so i am now officially a slacker with nothing to do. this is really bad. everyone else has something to preoccupy themselves with! and all i'm doing is spending money and wasting my life away instead of doing important things. okay, i'm going to forget about minitoons for the moment and continue looking for jobs anyway.
